Valencia's Roberto Soldado Dreaming Of Champions League Victory Against Chelsea
The 26-year-old striker has revealed that his side will be going to Stamford Bridge with a winning mentality in order to beat the English outfit and qualify for the last 16
Valencia striker Roberto Soldado has said that he is dreaming of a victory over Chelsea that would see the Spanish side qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League at the expense of the west London club.
Going into the final matchday of the group phase, Unai Emery's men are level on eight points with the Blues in Group E, setting up a winner-takes-all clash at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
And Soldado is hoping that his side can return from England with a ticket to the knockout stage.
"We are all dreaming of a beautiful night where we can achieve the qualification we're all dreaming of," the 26-year-old told SuperDeporte.es.
"We must win. That is the goal we have. We're going to London with the mentality that we must win."
Valencia and Chelsea drew 1-1 at Mestalla in the reverse fixture, meaning a score draw or victory for the Spanish outfit on Tuesday would see them progress. German side Bayer Leverkusen have already advanced to the last 16 from Group E. - http://www.goal.com
