Gonzalo Castro alert of Valencia threat 12bet update 11/01

The German defender is expecting the opposition to come flying out of the blocks in Spain as he warns his team of the potential pitfalls they face as European action resumes

Bayer Leverkusen's Gonzalo Castro suggests Valencia will pile on the pressure when the teams meet in Tuesday's Champions League Group E clash.

Robin Dutt's men are hoping to stay towed behind Chelsea who lead the group on seven points when they travel to the Mestalla.

Castro knows it will be tough in Spain and said his side would have to be alert to Valencia's attacking prowess.

"I think they will start to pressure us from the start and they will be aggressive, like they were when we played at home," Castro told the press.

"They are especially good at counter attacking football and they have loyal and vocal supporters.

"And, if they do not score early, their fans could become restless and this could have a negative effect on Valencia." - http://www.goal.com
