New Sevilla coach Michel is convinced the club have the potential to do well this season as he prepares for his first test at Real Sociedad on Monday. The former Real Madrid star took the reins of the Andalusian outfit earlier this week from Marcelino Garcia, who was sacked after last weekend's 2-1 loss to Villarreal. Sevilla have not won in their last seven La Liga games and go into the clash at the Anoeta stadium on the back of two straight defeats.
Real Sociedad lost 2-1 at Barcelona having previously thrashed Sporting Gijon 5-1. They are just two points behind Sevilla heading into Monday's game. The Basque outfit's coach Philippe Montanier hopes to recover strikers Diego Ifran and Antoine Griezmann in time for Monday's game with both players doubtful with minor injuries.
