The Cameroonian forward has ended his long dispute with the Spanish champions for a commission following his move to the Nerazzurri
Barcelona have announced that Anzhi Makhachkala striker Samuel Eto'o has given up on his fight for compensation for his transfer to Inter in 2009. The Cameroon international had started legal action against the Blaugrana as he demanded a commission of €3 million plus interest for the deal which took him to San Siro. The Labour Court of Barcelona ruled in favour of the Catalan club in April 2010, but Eto'o appealed against the decision. However, the 31-year-old has now dropped his legal claim, a decision which Barca have applauded.
"Barcelona would like to publicly thank Samuel Eto'o, one of the biggest goalscorers in our history, for his willingness to solve this dispute," a club statement read.Eto'o scored 108 goals in 145 Primera Division appearances for Barca before moving to Inter in the summer of 2009.
